Hand sewn? Wow. I honestly wouldn't have the patience to hand-sew everything. The most I sew by hand are pouches for A5 notebooks. Anything larger, and I either don't even try or I reach for the fabric glue.

I like the red costume, it's very nice. But I like red in general, so I might be biased. :meow: Great work though, can't believe this is all hand sewn!

Thank you) I trust my hands than automatics.Traditionally, the sewing machine is used only for making stage costumes and cosplay. And only when really necessary

Still, that's really impressive to me. I can't sew anything to save my life. :XD:

Sometimes I wish we all still dressed something like this on a regular basis. ;) Such simplicity, perfectly fit to a woman’s body, don’t you think?
I also love that adorable little basket! Is there some hemp rope in it??

I agree, this clothing makes a woman feminine. But in modern life more convenient and comfortable in modern dress) All is well in time.
And in the basket are belts)))

You’re right, everything has its time. At home, in the house when I work in the kitchen, I almost always wear a simply under-dress and apron, it’s the most practical.

About the basket: My question is if it is partially woven from hemp rope, on the corners where the handle starts.
In the middle it looks like wicker, but the corners look like rope.

Oh, so the part I was wondering about is straw then? Is it rope made from straw?
Sorry about all the questions! :D
But thank you so much for your answers.

Ohh ... basket did not my work - it is a gift, so I can only speak about) There are two kinds of sticks, they are slightly different in texture.

all. I understood the question)))
Basket is made of a thin layer of birch bark. It is a national technique of weaving)))
